Bauhaus Villa with wooden facade

Architecture with an ecological character

Meisterstück-HAUS realized this individually designed, two-story Bauhaus villa – complete with a double carport – on an infill plot within an older residential area, nestled amidst tall pines and a mature garden landscape. The serene, clean-lined architecture captivates through its harmonious integration into the surrounding nature: the natural wooden facade lends the building warmth and an ecological character, while its clean lines and generous openings create a timeless elegance.

Notable architectural details include the striking cubic framing of the upper story and deliberately recessed facade sections, which create distinct outdoor zones – some exposed, others sheltered – on the balcony and the terrace situated beneath it. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the interior with natural light throughout the year.

Inside, a well-conceived spatial concept unfolds: the entrance area offers a spacious, light-filled welcome, featuring an open gallery that serves as the home's central connecting hub. Upon entry, the line of sight extends directly outward toward the terrace and garden, thereby establishing an immediate connection with nature. In addition to the expansive living area – comprising an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space – the ground floor (totaling approx. 131 sqm) is further complemented by a guest restroom, two equally sized children's rooms with direct garden access, a children's bathroom, a technical room, and a separate utility room. A connecting door leading from the hallway to the carport ensures convenient access for daily chores.

Tranquil retreats and "wellness" zones for the parents are located on the upper floor – spanning a total living area of 72 sqm – and include a home office as well as the master bedroom with a dressing area, an en-suite bathroom (approx. 20 sqm) featuring a sauna, and direct access to a large loggia-style balcony.

In terms of building services, the installed air source heat pump – featuring a built-in domestic hot water tank, integrated ventilation, and a cooling function – ensures maximum energy efficiency and a consistently pleasant, healthy indoor climate.
