Architect’s house in Henley
Individualised mix
This house was designed for his own use by the architect owner, with every detail already specified – and Meisterstueck-HAUS delivered on all accounts. From line drawing to finished house, all exactly as the owner/architect had envisioned; and it goes without saying, because it is a Meisterstueck-HAUS , that the quality and energy performance are second to none.
This individually planned Meisterstueck-HAUS offers maximum living comfort on over 472 m² of living space. In addition to four bedrooms, there is a living room, a dining room, a family room, a TV room and a mezzaine. The bedrooms are each equipped with an en-suite bathroom, while the master bedroom also has a dressing room. The client also benefits from the energy-efficient and sustainable timber construction of the Meisterstueck homes.
The Meisterstueck Experience:
“As an architect, I have built many traditional houses of different types over the years, and this time I decided to build for myself – but it had to be energy-efficient. I did a lot of research, and investigated four different German companies in great detail – and Meisterstueck-HAUS was the best option because of the quality and construction methods.
There were lots of stand-out moments, but the visit to the factory, understanding the manufacturing principles and the swift assembly of the house were the best. The assembly team were very quick and very tidy, and extremely efficient; a joy to watch.
And now living in this house is great; it is very comfortable and clean, and does not take much to heat. Our whole experience was very good; I can’t think of anything we would have done differently, and we are very happy with the outcome of the project.”
