FUSION with carport
Lots of living comfort with wood and glass
This detached house variant of the ‘FUSION’ architectural line, which combines design elements of Bauhaus architecture with post and beam construction, was realised on a basement with carport in a rural community in the Rhine-Neckar district. The south-facing, fully glazed gable allows plenty of daylight into the house, which has around 193 square metres of living space for the family of four.
On the ground floor, the open-plan layout with gallery void on the upper floor creates a comfortable feeling of space. In addition to the living area of around 109 square metres with an open-plan kitchen of almost 56 square metres and adjoining storage room, there is also a study and a shower/WC. The family's retreats are all located on the upper floor of the house. There are two equally sized children's rooms and a separate children's bathroom with shower for the youngsters. A spacious dressing room adjoins the almost 14 square metre master bedroom as a passageway to the en-suite bathroom, which is equipped with a shower and free-standing bathtub.
All technology can be found in the utility room in the basement, which also houses two additional large rooms for hobbies and leisure activities. An air source heat pump, a ventilation system with heat recovery and a photovoltaic system ensure the necessary energy efficiency and the greatest possible self-sufficiency in terms of gas and electricity.
