The architectural idea of ​​the show house "FUSION" in the German Off-Site Manufactured House Center Mannheim combines design elements of modern Bauhaus architecture with the popular post and beam construction of the Meisterstueck-HAUS "AESTHETIK" houses. 

With a living space of 151 square meters on two floors, “FUSION” presents itself as an elegant, spacious, smart and at the same time highly energy-efficient single-family house - with lots of glass, light-filled, bright rooms and lots of living comforts. The combination of a 6 kWp photovoltaic system including storage with an air-source heat pump with cooling function as well as controlled ventilation with heat recovery ensures a minimal primary energy requirement, which is far below the required standard and thanks to that Energy efficiency class A+ is confirmed. 

"FUSION" becomes a SmartHome thanks to the extensive equipment with the iO products from Somfy: This allows light and external blinds to be conveniently controlled. Sensor technology, smart smoke alarms and a networked video intercom also offer optimal security around the house. 

At the reader award "House of the Year 2020" - awarded by Family Home Magazine - the FUSION show house received the SILVER award in the "Smart House" category for its "smart" functions.
